Frozen Drink Machine Operating Instructions
STARTING MACHINE - Do not plug in the machine until you have filled the hoppers to the desired amount. If you are operating this machine outside, keep this machine in the shade. Ambient temperature plays a large part in how fast the product will be ready to serve.
EXTENSION CORDS AND POWER - Using the wrong extension cord could cause mixing delays. A thin wire (non-industrial) cord could starve the 120-volt compressor of the needed electrical surge for proper operation. If the unit is plugged directly into the wall socket, make sure it is a dedicated only to the frozen drink machine. If you have too many devices on the same circuit it could cause mixing delays. In the event that the machine is not freezing, make sure it is set to ‘ICE’ and try another outlet to be sure the machine is not starving for electricity. This unit requires a minimum of 1320 watts to operate correctly.
DO NOT ADD ICE TO THIS MACHINE - This unit makes its own ice. It has a reversing auger that gives you better mixing faster - this improves freeze time so that you have frozen drinks sooner.
USE ONLY SUPPLIED MIXES - You must have the proper sugar level in the mixes you use to make a frozen drink. Without the proper sugar levels, you could damage the auger. Any damage to the machine will be billed directly to the customer.
MACHINE SETTINGS - On the front panel of the machine are the controls. In the top left corner is the on/off button for the machine. On the left and right sides are 2 controls each. The button on the left turns the auger on. The button on the right is a 3 position switch (off, chill, & ice). If you are making frozen drinks, you want to switch it to ice. The auger must be on for the machine to freeze.
ADD COLD WATER FIRST - then pour the desired mix in from the front of the machine. Follow the mixing instructions. Depending on water and room temperature, allow about 50 to 70 minutes before serving. Cold water will speed up ready to serve time.
ADDING MORE PRODUCT - When mixing blades become exposed add cold water and product to the hopper. It will take about 20 - 30 minutes before you can start serving again.
WHEN FINISHED USING THIS MACHINE - Empty the hoppers. Turn off the machine and add one gallon of warm water to each hopper and drain. This will help rinse out each hopper. Use a damp towel and wipe off the outside of the machine. DO NOT DO ANY OTHER CLEANING OF THIS MACHINE OR DISASSEMBLE IN ANY WAY.
